CATEGORIES OF ENSEMBLES
Chamber Ensemble – 3 to 9 performers of brass, woodwind and/or percussion instruments.
Concert Band – 25 or more performers of a combination of brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. Guitar Ensemble – 7 to 25 performers of guitars. Orchestra – 25 or more performers of a combination of brass, woodwind, percussion and string instruments.

B101 – Brass/Woodwind/Percussion Ensemble – no age restrictions
B201 – Brass/Woodwind/Percussion Ensemble – ensemble members are a maximum age of 20 years as of January 1, 2011
B301 – Brass/Woodwind/Percussion Ensemble – ensemble members are a maximum age of 17 years as of January 1, 2011 or are registered in Grade 12
B401 – Brass/Woodwind/Percussion Ensemble – ensemble members are a maximum age of 15 years as of January 1, 2011
CONCERT BAND
